About us
A small team with a simple purpose
We are a small self-funded Christian organisation relying on volunteers and kind donations to help spread the gospel in serving the needs of the community across the UK.
Origin and purpose
Where this started
Christians United began with a handful of believers in Leicester who kept noticing the same thing: people struggling through the cost of living crisis with nobody to talk to, and a gospel that nobody was bringing to them where they actually were.
So we bought a gazebo, printed a banner, filled flasks and went out. That is still the shape of it today — go where people are, serve them practically, and tell them honestly about Jesus.
What makes us different
No building, no budget, no barriers
We are not a church plant and we are not asking anybody to join anything. We work alongside churches across the city rather than competing with them.
Everything we put on is free at the point of use, and every volunteer is there because they chose to be.
The team
Seventeen and counting

Street pastors, musicians, prayer volunteers, drivers and setup crew — ordinary people from across Leicester giving up their weekends.
Our values
What we hold to
Community First
We serve whoever turns up, of any faith or none, with no conditions attached.
Prayer Led
Nothing we do starts without prayer, and prayer is offered to anyone who asks.
Volunteer Powered
Everyone gives their time freely. Nobody here draws a wage from this work.
Fully Transparent
Gifts go into equipment, refreshments and events. We say plainly what money is for.
